Many trekkers walk in from the road head at Jiri, through the lovely rolling hills of the Solu region. Others fly in to the village of Lukla to start their trek. A few days above Lukla is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park and the town of Namche Bazaar, where most trekkers take a day to acclimatize to the high altitude. From here one may branch towards the village of Thame or continue on to take on of the two main Khumbu routes, to Gokyo Lake or towards the Everest base camp. Beyond Namche Bazaar is the Sherpa village of Khumjung and further on the famous monastery of Thyangboche. Here the Mani Rimdu festival of dances is celebrated every year.

We will then follow the glacier ahead to reach Lobuche, stop for some click and admiration of views of the AmaDablam, Taweche along with some other mountains, and finally hike to GorakShep.
From here can ascend to Kala Pattar at the height of 5554m and to the Everest Base camp. Trek to Kala Pattaris a hard trekking, it fatigues you, makes your lungs cry out loud for more oxygen till you get acclimatized but once you reach there, you will feel all the trouble getting there was worth it. After spending plenty time to admire and capture the beauty of the Everest we will then descend to Everest Base Camp region at the foot of Khumbu ice fall, spend some time there and finally trek down making our way back to Lukla.
